Project: Precast Concrete Panel System(PCPS)

This project consisted of placing 62 panels uniquely designed for the section along I-165 in Mobile, Al. MCC worked with a design and precast partner to provide design, engineering, installation, training, management, and construction services for the PCPS.

Work was performed from the hours of 7PM to 5 AM and all lanes of traffic were open to the traveling public each day. This project was bid as a pilot project for the State of Alabama to see if a PCPS could be implemented in high traffic areas where it was not possible to close lanes for any significant amount of time.

MCC successfully completed the project in half the amount of time designed and traffic was never impacted during daytime hours.
