This project consisted of the construction of a new Medical Village access road, construction of new turn lanes on SR-59, and improvements to E. 2nd Street and W. 34th Avenue.

​

The construction included grade, drain, base, pave, striping, traffic signals, and new signage to support the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center Freestanding Emergency Department Facility.

​

One of the major highlights of the project for McElhenney Construction was the construction of the large ½ acre retention pond. The pond, with fountain feature and landscape, is the focal point of the new entrance to the South Baldwin Medical Center.
